A New Song for Christmas

Barnegat, NJ (December 2017) –  New Jersey Native Singer/Songwriter Billy Clanton as a personal challenge and to celebrate the release of his new Christmas song “Never Thought of Christmas So Blue,” is releasing a Christmas song-a-day from now until Christmas.  Each song will be recorded and produced by Billy Clanton.  Some songs are original compositions while others are traditional holiday favorites.  The challenge is that each song will be recorded and produced in less than 24 hours.  “I’ve been writing and producing music since I was in High School, this project is not only a personal challenge, but it is going to be fun,” said Billy Clanton. Billy is a graduate of Southern Regional High School class of 1995.  “It was high school music teachers like Ron Poorman that inspired me to write music and I never lost that love,” said Clanton.  Billy Clanton is also the 10:30am Worship Leader at Grace Calvary Church in Ship Bottom. An opportunity that has allowed Bill to make his song writing a part of his faith by sharing original compositions with the congregation.   This Christmas song challenge kicked off December 1st and will conclude on Christmas day December 25th.  Followers are encouraged to visit the website to see the daily song release.  The daily songs will also be posted to Billy’s Facebook page as well as his Song A Day YouTube Channel.  All of the songs will be recorded and produced in the “Video on Main” studios on Main Street in Barnegat.  Each song will be released daily at 5pm from December 1st through Christmas.  Billy Clanton’s brand new Christmas song “Never Thought of Christmas So Blue,” is currently available on iTunes, Amazon Music, Pandora, Spotify and where ever music is sold.
